While designing this collection, I became fascinated with ancient Byzantine basket earrings. Here I combined the form of basket earrings with the materials  of antique diving helmets. I combined pierced copper and round patterns of sterling silver that echo the style worn by underwater adventurers.

Every part of these earrings are handmade in my studio. I designed these to be sure that sterling silver is next to the skin. The ear wires are sterling silver. The copper, which is formed and pierced is also antiqued.

All my items arrive in a gift box, tied with either a ribbon or a piece of leather.
